About Charlene Wilson
A lifetime of learning,
a gift of teaching
Raised Roman Catholic in the Washington, DC area, Charlene Wilson spent 25 years in the computer industry before a chance encounter with a Tibetan Lama changed everything. What began as curiosity became a lifelong commitment to understanding one of the world’s most profound spiritual traditions.
Ordained as a Ngakpa (yogi) in 2000, Charlene has spent decades studying under the guidance of H.H. Penor Rinpoche and other masters of the Nyingma tradition. Her journey from IT professional to Buddhist practitioner shows that these ancient teachings aren’t just for monks in monasteries. They’re for anyone seeking clarity, compassion, and lasting peace.
